She is young and female, too. This is very disappointing. I know this happens all the time elsewhere, but it's still kind of a big deal in Canada.
I am a bad person and went and looked up the 'profile' of her referenced in the article. You know, it's great that she managed to finish medical school while having two young children at the same time. That is indeed an admirable accomplishment. But her "anyone can, and should do this" routine? Absolute bullshit. Tell that to the teenager in high school with little to no support network, or the single mother barely making ends meet with three kids already. The list goes on. This woman is living in a bubble of the worst kind.
