Sorry for posting about my dogs all of the time, but you are such good resources. My dogs are doing that thing where about 1/3 of the way into a walk, they stop walking. One will turn around and pull to go back. The girl will stop, flatten her ears and tuck her tail then roll around and want me to pet her tummy/ hold/ cuddle her. I know they are not hurt or tired because they will practically run home and then get home and wrestle all over the house. Also, if we take them to the dog park, they have energy to play for like an hour. So, I am pretty confident they aren’t having a physical problem. I read online that they could have some sort of bad memory, but I don’t think so. They have never been attacked or scared on a walk. What should I do? How do I get them to enjoy walks again? Also, unrelated, my husband is always cranky while we walk the dogs, although that is not causing the issue because they do it when I am walking them by myself or when he is walking them by himself. I just wanted to mention that he is annoying the living daylights out of me when we walk the dogs.
