So, I have an electric blanket that I left on this morning. It has an automatic shut-off after ten hours, but I turned it on at 8:30a and I won't be home until 8:30p. Part of me is wondering if I should go home to turn it off, but I don't have a car. So I would have to walk 15 minutes in what feels like -5 degree weather, turn it off, then turn around to walk another 15 minutes back to work.
This is such a dilemma. Will I burn my apartment down?
ETA: I'm paranoid, I went home to turn it off. Then I decided to be a smarter person, turned it back on, climbed in to bed, and am now working from home. Yay for flexible employers!
