When I read an amazing book I borrowed from someone or got from the library, I can buy it for myself and have it forever to reread again and again. If I buy an eBook and love it, I have to pay for it again to get the same book in a format I know will last. It's why I can't make myself buy ebooks. Why don't any booksellers have a deal where if you buy the eBook, you can get the paper copy at a discount equal to what you already paid? Amazon has it the other way (buy a book and get the ebook cheaper), but that doesn't help me take the plunge to get the eBook now.
