My second advice-seeking post today; I guess I just need a lot of help today. Anyway, so my girlfriend's sister in law gave birth last night, and we're going to visit her and the baby in the hospital this evening. It's been a long, long time since I visited someone in the maternity ward, and I was a pre-teen at the time, so I didn't really know what was what. Will we be expected to bring something like flowers or a card? Or is our presence satisfactory enough? Halp.
On another note, I feel really awkward because my girlfriend pretty much hates her SIL and only likes her brother a bit more than that. I feel like bonding over the baby should be a chance to repair relationships, but I don't see it happening. (My girlfriend REALLY hates her SIL.) So it goes.
