Yesterday I posted about not getting called for an interview for a job I applied for. I was a little bummed, but I knew that I could keep substitute teaching and be ok.

Then I spent the afternoon trying to keep my children from destroying my sanity and missed a few calls. When I checked my messages there was a call from a school for an interview! It wasn't even a school that I had applied to. They somehow got wind of my resume and picked me. What is this feeling? I've never been "picked" before.

I got all excited and went to the district website to accept the invitation for the interview, which was scheduled for the 4th. I wrote, "I look forward to meeting with you on Thursday." I later got an email to the tune of, "the 4th is tomorrow."

Whoops! I don't know how to calendar. But I'm totes qualified to teach the youths.

So. Now I've had less than 24 hours to prepare for an interview for a job I didn't apply for and I have no idea how to hide my incompetence. And I don't know what to wear, since I've been living in leggings and t-shirts. Wish me luck.
