Bath Film Festival is introducing an F rating for films "...which pass some simple tests such as having a female lead who is not simply there to support the male lead, being specifically about women or being directed by a woman."


I think this is great - they are not selecting films specifically based on this, but simply highlighting the discrepancy and, hopefully, opening up the conversation.
