I don't think it would come as a surprise to anyone that, when it comes to fitness, I am what is technically termed "a lazy motherfucker." Well, I've finally found something that can help me with that.

By the same company that designed Zombies, Run! they now have a...well, a less difficult program, shall we say, called The Walk. Basically, here's the deal: a bomb goes off in the Inverness Station, you are given a device that could save the world, but the only way to figure out how to use it is by gathering clues and walking 500 miles across the UK.

GUISE. GUISE. This is seriously the coolest fucking pedometer/walking app I have EVER found. Everything is divided into chapters, and with each chapter, you are given a virtual map that plots your course through the game. As you hit timed benchmarks, different clues and audio clips are revealed that tell the story.

Here's how cool it is: I was late getting back to work after my lunch hour because I just had to keep walking to find out what was going to happen next.

$2.99 on either the iTunes or Google Play stores, but it's actually worth the money (shocking, I KNOW).

Mystery, thriller, walking. It's like it was MADE FOR ME. I know this reads like the worst kind of sales pitch, but seriously - I really love this app and think there are a few of you out there that would dig it too.
