I stopped taking Abilify over the weekend, after tapering down for a few days. I feel really good, because now I have a goal that’s potentially attainable. My workouts weren’t in vain before, but they felt that way because I wasn’t getting the results I wanted; now I can start getting those results.

With my therapist, I’ve set a goal of going to the gym four times per week. I went Sunday and Monday, walked/ran the treadmill for an hour each. I’m skipping ballet class tonight because it’s Shark Week and I have stupid cramps, but overall I’m feeling good. I can rock this. My metabolism is no longer at the mercy of medication.
