We started with lightly salted stove popped popcorn. Simple. Clean. Then, on to the main course of Parmesan garlic buttered popcorn. Robust. Savory. Finish with fleur de sel caramel covered popcorn. Fucking. Delicious.
I had chicken defrosted and ready to make and everything, but I discovered stove popped popcorn today. So, popcorn for dinner! And I made fucking caramel (or toffee, or whatever the fuck, I don't care I'm not a purist) so I pretty much feel like I can do anything. I'm making candies and caramel popcorn for holiday gifts, for sure.
