Food threeeeead! Whachoo cookin’, bakin’, eatin’, menu plannin’, GT?

I’ve been in the kitchen quite a bit this weekend! Yesterday, I made this soup, which was delicious! I added carrot and red bell pepper and a little extra red pepper flake for some heat and served it over BudgetBytes’s savory coconut garlic rice. It was a little bit of heaven on a cold, windy night. I will definitely make it again, though I’ll probably sub in an extra 1/2 C of coconut milk for the veggie broth, just to git a stronger hit of coconut flavor. And definitely keep the extra heat and veggies.

While the soup was cooking last night, I threw together a dough for this rosemary bread.

This morning, I made a yummy cinnamon apple Dutch baby for breakfast. And, this afternoon, I baked up that rosemary bread. Look at this beautiful, rustic ass loaf of bread!
