So, I mostly just made this thread to brag about the cooking I did today.
I finally ordered Sunny Paris seasoning from Penzey’s. One suggestion I kept seeing was it was good on eggs, so I made some scrambled eggs. They were easily the best I’ve made, the curds were perfectly big and fluffy*, they weren’t overcooked, but also not undercooked. And with some Sunny Paris, grated parmesan, and a some toast on the side it was a perfect start to my morning (okay, fine, it was pretty much noon). I feel like scrambled eggs are easy to make, but hard to master, especially if you are like me and make them rarely.
Now, I have a pot of Zuppa Toscana simmering away and a loaf of no-knead bread in the oven. It all smells so amazing, and based on sample tastes of the soup it is going to be fantastic.
*yeah, you “creamy” scrambled egg people are weird and have gross tastes.
So, have you had any cooking successes lately.
