YOU GUYS. I'm super-officially moving to France in four weeks. I've been planning to study at Sciences Po Lyon for a while now, but I booked a plane ticket on Sunday night and my visa came today (or at least the envelope I gave the consulate did, and I assume it contains my passport with a visa). And a few weeks ago I found out that for once my university wasn't totally shitty with financial aid, so not only will I not be paying anything directly to the university (no loans this year? what?), I may be getting a small refund—and between that and working two jobs/not spending money this summer, I can afford to stay for the full year. (Although if anyone knows of an internet-based job/internship that pays really anything, I'm in the market for one.)
AND it sounds like my mom may be willing to let my younger sister visit me over Christmas instead of me coming home. Which would be awesome, especially if we can find the money to travel a bit.
AAAAAAAAAHYOUGUYS. I'M MOVING TO FRANCE IN 26 DAYS AND I'M BOTH EXCITED AND SLIGHTLY TERRIFIED AND LOOK AT THIS CITY. AAAAAAAAH. I'M GOING TO GO LISTEN TO MIKA NOW AND MAYBE STOP YELLING.
