(Since I'm not sure if the video will embed, TW: sexual assault.)
What does a day in the life of a woman look like? Maybe it's easier to see if the woman is a man. Oppressed Majority is a French short by Éléonore Pourriat uses role reversals to shine a new light on the micro-aggressions and macro-aggressions that are an all-too-common part of the female experience. The result is more thought-provoking than laugh-inducing.
I'm sorry, I'm not sure how this is going to format from the mobile platform. See! I do have decent people in my FB feed, that's where this showed up for me. I wasn't expecting much, sexism role-reversal doesn't usually work well because of the power dynamic. I think this was really well done though, and the very end gave me a little chill.
It's still frustrating that a fight for equality still has to focus on how men feel about it, but this is the best example I've seen of this sort of thing.
Apologies if this has been posted previously and I missed it.
