My company made a decision to offshore some services that my department provides to another country. It’s not traditionally the kind of service that happens remotely (like IT support). It’s a weird idea. It was poorly thought out and poorly executed It’s becoming an epic shit show and my boss keeps insisting its working and recently decided to offshore even more services (even less practical than the first round). I’m really losing my patience with the entire thing and needed to rant. I keep having to defend this asinine decision to people who know it doesn’t work and know that I know it doesn’t work.
