If you remember, Rolling Stone basically played "blame the victim" in their "A Note to Our Readers" late last week with regards to the rape allegations at UVA and stated that their faith in the victim ("Jackie") was misplaced.

Since then, Rolling Stone has now removed that fucked up language and appear to have added this instead (emphasis mine).

In trying to be sensitive to the unfair shame and humiliation many women feel after a sexual assault, we made a judgment – the kind of judgment reporters and editors make every day. We should have not made this agreement with Jackie and we should have worked harder to convince her that the truth would have been better served by getting the other side of the story. These mistakes are on Rolling Stone, not on Jackie.

Naturally, they have not made any announcement of their change in language; they just silently updated the language in their online post. Hey, Rolling Stone: too little, too late, you jackasses. Fuck you guys.
