I have a lot of clothes and shoes that I just want to get rid of. They're things I've had for years (like since high school), yet keep anyway because I'm a bit of a hoarder in that sense. But by doing that, getting rid of this stuff, I feel like I have less options for things to wear. You see, I usually don't like to wear the same outfit twice, but I'm recovering from that stupid tendency. I want some new, good pieces, but I really don't have the money to splurge on a lot of new clothes. I'm tired of relying on Forever 21 and the sort for clothes because that's how I've accumulated so much clothes—just buying a piece because it's in-your-face or trendy or cheap. I don't have a lot of basics in my closet, either. Oh, and most of my wardrobe is composed of dresses. I have nearly 50 of them.
I guess my question is, where should I look for things that are of good quality but not super expensive. Most of my current clothes have come from F21, H&M, the sales rack of Urban Outfitters, and TJ Maxx/Marshall's. I can't really afford to buy casual items from Ann Taylor Loft or J.Crew, which are stores that are good for basics (right?). I guess I could look online for stores too, but not quite sure where. I love ASOS, for one thing.
Meh, I hate this. I'm 22, a bit tired of my wardrobe, but don't exactly know what to do about it! Part of the whole quarter-life crisis, I suppose.
