Hi Folks. I've never been in an accident before this month, and now, I find myself with a total loss on my hands. I have no idea how to make sure I'm being a wise consumer, and not getting swindled by the insurance companies. What should I be aware of, ask for and check on? I think I'm supposed to get the full Kelly Blue Book Value for my car?

and I'm hoping to get real knowledgeable from your answers! For the record, I was not at fault. I'm trying to get in touch with the adjustor from the other guy's insurance and have them take care of my rental asap, because that shit is adding up.

Thanks in advance for your responses.
