I don't know why this is bothering me so much, but this person keeps giving me grief on me asking "why was DC left off the list, it's got more people than Wyoming and there are about 9 MILLION shows set here or at least in the general area."

"well it's BASICALLY a state as they elect their own local government and collect taxes AND THERE'S WAY MORE TV SHOWS SET HERE THAN IN OTHER FREAKING STATES. IT JUST SEEMS LIKE AN OMISSION BECAUSE IT'S PART OF THE CONTIGUOUS US AND THERE'S A LOT OF TV SHOWS SET HERE."
I don't know why this is pissing me off. I probably should have ignored. I didn't link to the comment b/c I don't want that following me here. Sure I was being flippant re: what actually constitutes as a state, but it's ridiculous and completely missing my point (perhaps I should have been more clear?) to just be like "Well it's not a state."
