Grandma Recipies

My mother is trying to transcribe my grandmother’s recipes and my mom doesn’t really cook. So I’m looking them over ‘cause I’m likely gonna be the one to replicate them and the stuffed cabbage recipe is missing the type of meat (beef or veal). The quantities are all one package of meat or a fourth of a mug of flour. And my grandmother calls both a string bean dish and red kidney bean dish beans. And we’re now trying to sort out what gets parsley and what gets cilantro. What are some of your favorite family cooking stories?
