This is an amazing documentary we were watching in class.
This documentary starts off with four deaf men from St. John School For The Deaf: Terry Kohut, Gary Smith, Pat Kuehn and Arthur Budzinski, who sought to expose Lawrence Murphy, a priest at their school, for sexual abuse over as many as 200 deaf boys at the school, from 1950-1974.
The documentary then goes on into how abuse is reported in the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, and then goes into another series of abuses in the Catholic Church in Ireland. It then goes into more systematic abuses, and a third major case in Italy, with a segment of young men at monasteries.
