Emergency crews responding to a fire at a Senior's home in Clark's Corner, New Brunswick were shocked to discover a marijuana grow op in the basement. The RCMP seized 550 plants, estimated to be enough weed for 275 000 joints.
Investigators believe that the fire was related to the grow op.
I seem to recall hearing that grow ops tend to be fire hazards, due to the fact that they get lots of extra electrical wiring. What's more they can also be health hazards due to mold growth, and agricultural chemicals. Just what a bunch of elderly people need to be living with.
