I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking about going to the gym more right now, although in my case I joined a few months ago and I’m just now checking out stuff besides the pool.
Anyways, one of the things I love about my gym is the diversity of bodies. I see people of all ages and sizes wearing all sorts of things. It’s refreshing, and I think it’s time for me to let go of my body insecurity and jump on the leggings bandwagon.
Maybe y’all can help me style them? I have a fashion hangup about full length leggings with sneakers. It just feels to me like you can do crop leggings with sneakers, but full length leggings should be with boots, or at least a chunky high top. The transition from slim ankle to gawky running shoe just seems weird to me.
But it’s obviously what people are doing right now, so what do I know?
Here are a few pics I got from googling “gym style full length leggings.”
I think the second one looks better because they’re a bit cropped and the colorblocking is boot-like.
Do y’all agree? It seems counter-intuitive because theoretically color blocking should make your legs look shorter.
How do you style your leggings, o’ fashionable Group thinkers?
This question is so inane that it doesn’t really deserve a post, so I’m also opening this up to be an open thread. Post your fashion questions, your gym questions, whatever. :)
