It's been 93 years since the U.S. Congress ratified the 19th Amendment on August 26, 1920, and we ladies be voting!!! Fun fact... the deciding vote for ratification came from Tennessee assembly member Harry Burn whose mother basically pestered him into being a decent human being by making the vote. THANKS HARRY BURN'S AWESOME MOM! I LIKE VOTING AND I LIKE YOU!

ETA: ALSO, NYC GT-ERS WHO HAPPEN TO BE FREE AT THIS EXACT MOMENT... at 11:30 Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney will announce the reintroduction of the ERA at the Washington Square Arch. It will be followed by a walking tour of NYC sites of significance to the women's movement which sounds pretty damn cool to me.
