I'm trying to decide if my sister and I should get tickets for our parents to see them as a Christmas gift. Mom and Dad generally like music and shows (well, certain shows... my Dad was known to bring a book to the dance competitions and middle/high school musicals that I took part in as a kid, but really... who can blame him?) but I'm a little concerned they may find it obnoxiously loud. So, to those of you who have seen it... a show generally enjoyable for 50+ parental units?
For reference, we took my mom to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra as a gift the other year and she enjoyed it. Or at least said she did. We did not take my Dad because he hates Christmas music (see also: joy, love, happiness).
