I’m looking for flexible part-time work for me to do while in school and have been having no luck. I just came across several postings for merchandising jobs and I’m intrigued. I did visual merchandising as part of my last long-term job and it was one of my favorite things, but these listings almost sound too good to be true — flexible hours, no boss hovering over you, less customer interaction and more about building relationships with employees in the stores you merch, etc.

Has anyone done this before? What companies should I avoid? The listing I’m most interested in seems to have the best reviews on Glassdoor (and that least amount of “are you fucking kidding me?” level fake reviews) but I’d love to hear from y’all!
