The story is interesting and the way it is told is also (though I much preferred "Today We Change Faces" - sci-fi reference). The first hint was several very specific references to "fingertips - smooth with no prints" and some odd idiosyncrasies like italicizing random sentences. But she finally came out with absolute proof the that author never set foot in a glass shop - her glassblowing hero refused to use wood or paper like the other masters and shaped the glass with his own hands. He. Shaped. Glass. With. His. Bare. Hands. He was so devoted to his art that he shaped hot glass with his hands and thereby lost his fingerprints.
Sigh. Yet I am compelled to keep reading - does anyone else Hate-Read? Am I the only one?
