In the audiobook version of Mockingjay, when Kastniss talks about going to see a "Head Doctor," the reader pronounces both words with equal emphasis, so it sounds like she's talking about the doctor who is in charge. But she's not; she's talking about going to a head doctor, i.e. a psychiatrist/psychologist.
I only mention this because I am going to a psychiatrist for the first time today. I've been to counseling before, but never to a real, certified, medicine-prescribing shrink before (my current meds, Sertraline, are prescribed by my regular doctor, who is an osteopath). Is it okay to say shrink? I probably won't say that to her, in case its offensive. I really don't know what to expect.
