So, I want to lose 5-10 pounds and have been trying for a while. However, doing this is apparently super difficult. I've been running, which I hear isn't the best for weight loss because it makes you so hungry (it definitely does that to me). I also do a lot of squats, lunges and ab exercises. I hike on the weekends. I eat really healthily, not a lot of soda, lots of water and veggies etc. But it's not happening. I've been thinner before and used to have what felt like the worlds fastest metabolism.
My weight has fluctuated over the past few years; I lost 30 pounds, gained some back, lost some again, gained some again and here I am now. It's just so frustrating watching the scale not budge despite my efforts. I also know I shouldn't care so much and it makes me mad that I do, I just liked the way I looked more than I do now.
I can't afford personal training/gym memberships right now so I am limited to what I can do in my house/neighborhood.
Does anyone have any advice? Is it diet over exercise? Help!
