I’m going to a wedding this weekend in Montana. Unfortunately the weather is supposed to be in the low 50’s and rainy, so I’m having to figure out how warm up the outfit I planned to wear. Especially since it will be an evening/night wedding (with a dessert reception...best reception idea ever!).

I plan to wear the ModCloth Traveling Cupcake Truck Dress in Pink. Today at Maurice’s I found a 3/4 sleeve white cardigan (I was hoping for green or yellow, but white was all they had in that style, and short sleeves wouldn’t really be much better than just the dress itself. There is a part of me that wonders about the propriety of wearing a white cardigan at the wedding, but it is crop length, so with the bright pink dress, I think (hope?) that it isn’t too much.

The problem I’m running into is what to do on the bottom. All the ModCloth style pictures are bare legs. I was thinking tights, but am not sure what color. White seems kind of childish in an “8 year old girl in her Easter dress” kind of way. On the other hand, I feel like black would make me look too much like Minnie Mouse. Any other color suggestions, or should I just go sheer, or just risk cold legs.

And, hair up or down? Shower or room for styling might not be an option (there will be 6 adults and 2 kids staying in a 2 bathroom house), so I need something pretty easy. My hair is almost bra length in the back. Right now I’m leaning toward either a Gibson roll or high pony. Jewelry will probably just be pearl earrings with a short pearl necklace or no necklace at all.

Shoe will either be Rocket Dog Tonic Wedge in black or a pair of black patent pumps.
