Much like McCrory in NC, Christie seems intent on trying to do as much damage as possible during his remaining time in office.
Two gross bills are set to be voted on today and rumors suggest they may actually pass:
One allows a sitting gov to profit from a book deal in office (hey who could that help), which is just generally obnoxious.
And the other, far more disturbing bill, repeal a law that agencies need to publsh notices in public papers. In addition to being a blow for transparency, this takes away a huge source of income for local newspapers and could force many papers to shut down. Which is the last thing we need right now.
