You are not Beyonce. Just because your Aunt Peggy said you had a lovely singing voice after your performance in Hello Dolly in 7th grade does NOT mean the whole world needs to hear you sing "Power of Love" at full volume while walking home from the train station after a long day at work, dealing with incredibly annoying, oblivious people with no sense of public decorum.
What is this? Why do people do this? This is the first time this week, but will not be the last time I hear someone sing out loud in public. Not just in public, but in public spaces that are really not appropriate for public singing. L cars. In line for coffee at the cafe. Elevators! This has become a scourge, and I demand action!!
