Ok my mother's friend and her husband are moving out of state. Their real estate agent told them to look at House Hunters to set up their house, essentially make it look impersonal and hasn't been lived in. The friend's husband is taking it to heart while she isn't. She believes that they still have to live and should look lived in. Their house really does look impersonal and like no one lives there. He has not been in a good mood, she has been visiting people and shopping. I agree with her, he chose to make it look that way let him do the work. My mother thinks she should be realistic about what buyers want to see and should help. So has HGTV really made an impact on how houses are sold?
