Tender my resignation?

Y'all know I am writing this just to be able to write that phrase, right? But also, I actually need help. I have to give my two weeks notice tomorrow, and I have no idea how to go about it. I work on-site with a client, so I rarely see my project manager - is it kosher to just call her and be like "I have accepted a new opportunity, please let me know what you and the company need from me."? Do I have to actually write and hand her a letter of resignation? Should I try to see if she can meet for lunch? HOW DO I ADULT, GROUPTHINK.

The client will be very sad to see me go, my boss there is super nice and she and I get along great, and have for the 2.5 years I've been there, but I will NOT be sad to see the back of that place. It is time for a change, and I am so done with how much working there has brought me down.

HALP ME.

This puppy? This is me, fleeing from my horrid job into something that might be exactly what I need to actually get a career off the ground.
