On posts where the author hasn't participated in the comments, one commenter is apparently chosen to be the host. Anyone have any idea how this happens? This person's comment becomes the entirety of the highlights. Once the author starts participating in the comments, the author becomes the host and any comments the author recs or responds to become highlights. I've noticed I've had people I follow respond to my posts but they haven't become hosts. Did we do away with the idea of author circles? If not, how is the author's circle defined?

Does anyone else have any questions they want to ask?
