Our 1-bedroom apartment is now like 70+% packed, and the amount of boxes in here is STAGGERING. There’s so much stuff, I can’t even wrap my mind around it. We’ve been here for almost 5 years, and like, I knew we had outgrown this place and there was a lot of clutter, mainly crammed into the bedroom, but faced with confronting all of it and trying to fit it into boxes, it is mind-numbingly overwhelming how much there is. Are we hoarders and we didn’t know it?
It’s so easy to say “I just want to throw it away” but when none of it is objectively garbage, when it all basically serves a function, where do you even start? I need an adult with a brain that has executive functions to help me unpack all this shit and get rid of like half of it. I couldn’t even tell you what all of it is, truly. I mean, lots of kitchen stuff, of course. But beyond that, I don’t even know. There’s just SO MUCH of it.
