The congresswoman, who sought the GOP presidential nomination in 2012, said Obama got a "condescending smile on his face and laughed at me."
She said he told her: "Well Michele, it's just not that easy."
"And I said to him, 'No, Mr. President, you're the president, it will happen on your watch, and you'll have to answer to the world for this.' And that was it and then I left. Merry Christmas," she continued.
Bachmann is retiring from Congress after four terms in the House.
I'm assuming that she left out the part where Obama asked how she got in and called security to escort her from the premises.
