In january I had my hair cut into a blunt Louise Brooks style bob, and then cut shorter again in about March. Right now it's just a grown out bob, with a fringe that I have to sweep to the side, because it got too long without me noticing. I thought I had decided to grow my hair long again, because although I have really liked having it short sometimes, I sort of worry that it makes my face look really round or chubby (I know that sounds like a stupid reason, but just one of those things I worry about). However, it's reached the shitty not-short-but-not-long stage, and sometimes it's poofy and fluffy. I'm just about to start university, and I really don't want it to look bad right now.

So I need some advice. These are some of the options I've thought of so far:

1. Get the fringe cut, which would hopefully make the whole thing look more coherent/less shit.

2. Dye it. Either the whole thing (although I've never done that before, and I'm a bit worried about upkeep and roots showing), or just bits of it.

3. Give up on growing it out, and just have it cut back into a better short style.

4. Something awesome I haven't thought of yet. I'm totally open to suggestions.

Note: in terms of colour, I have always wanted to dye it white, but given that my natural colour is really dark brown, I don't think that will ever be an option for me. It also makes dying it at all pretty scary, since I have to bleach it first. So far my favourite option for dying-all-of-it is dark turquoise/teal.
