It only took me a month of finagling with my roommate's French press and bean grinder. I can't help it if I grew up using folgers and my grandparents' ancient Mr. Coffee.

This morning I finally ground the correct amount of beans to the correct texture, then added the right amount of said grounds to the pot, then the right amount of boiling water, got it to "bloom" in the pot, then cut the steep time down to 2.5 minutes before I pressed it. Voila! Velvety smooth delicious fresh coffee. No more tasting like hot pennies, no more weird fruity flavor, no more watery-ness because I didn't grind the beans finely enough. I AM YOUR MASTER, FRENCH PRESS. VOUS ÊTES VAINCU.
