I got my first meal box this week, and you guys ... holy crap.


I’m a decent-ish cook if there is a recipe to follow, I guess I’m just garbage at picking recipes. This week, I’ve had one of my fall-back meals (roasted sprouts with pancetta and feta, for three major food groups), a sweet potato and sesame pork thing I really liked, pork and poblano tacos with a kiwi salsa that I will eat 8,000 more times (so easy! so light! so fast!), and a chicken chimichurri that just blew my mind.

I’ve had three servings of vegetables every day this week, have eaten 0 meals wrapped in paper, and only one of the meals clocked in above the recommended calorie allotment for my large meal of the day.

I am full, it was delicious, and I haven’t had to step foot in a WalMart in three weeks. This is the nicest thing I’ve done for myself in a long, long time.
