Which is a good kind of problem to have! (The cartons were buy one, get one at my grocery store.) I don't want them to get moldy before I eat them all so I think I should cook something. I spend most of my time at work, eating their food, and when I come home I usually want something savory and hearty for dinner, not a dainty salad topped with strawberries because it's too cold for that shit.
So, soliciting your best strawberry recipes! I think I'd like to make some kind of dessert, preferably not ice cream or anything that requires me to figure out what rhubarb is or where to buy it.
Alternately, soliciting your suggestions for using the strawberries to make some sort of cocktail this weekend. I don't like mega syrupy sweet drinks (especially made with cheap flavorings, store-bought mix, etc.), but anything made with real fruit or juice is good in my book.
Honestly, having this many berries in my house all at once is making me feel super rich and fancy. I don't even know what to do with myself right now.
