I have just completed my workplace harassment prevention training, and thus possess the secrets necessary to not harassing my students or my colleagues.
Armed with this knowledge, I am ready to begin teaching tomorrow. Now where did that syllabus get to?
Also, an excerpt from the syllabus:
- Please do not disparage anybody on account of their race, religion, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexuality, age, socioeconomic class, political affiliation, country of origin, or any other reason. Additionally, please do not minimize another’s experiences simply because your experiences are different. If you are disrespectful you will be asked to leave, and your Participation grade will suffer for it.
I feel like it's the most important part of the syllabus.
Oh, forgot to mention, since it ties to the harassment training. I'm giving one of my colleagues a lapdance this Friday as part of a performance of "Closer" at karaoke. My coworker loved the idea. The Prophet and my colleague's Cute Person both expressed great amusement and interest in seeing this. Colleague will not be the only one, though - another friend who is visiting from a bit away will get his lap danced as well.
Quiz question: Harassment, or fun times?
