And my spouse and I have about 1,200 books in our possession. We live in a 600sft apartment.
I had never actually thought about the number of books, only that "Holy fuck we own a shit-ton of books." But we're looking at getting renter's insurance for the new apartment and I'm trying to figure out the value of our assets. How do I even quantify how much these are worth?
Correction, excuse me, my spouse just pointed out a tower of boxes of books in the closet. So, approximately 1,325 books. HOW DO WE HAVE THIS MANY BOOKS? WHY HAVEN'T WE BEEN CRUSHED TO DEATH BY FALLING BOOKSHELVES?
