The quilt! It is all quilted!

It is warm and hefty but still light enough to not be sweltering.

Things I learned:

  • You can sew a quilt on my machine! It just involves a lot of tucking and pulling and arranging.
  • There is a reason that you see quilters use safety pins rather than straight pins. It is because safety pins are SAFE. I pricked myself a half-dozen times before I switched over.
  • Edging covers a multitude of sins.

I majorly screwed up the back, but then was able to cover it. You have to know what you’re looking for to see where I went astray.

Now, I just need to defend it from the children, who have a habit of absconding with all the blankets.
