So, once I remembered to plug the crockpot in, dinner got done a lot faster. Go figure! (I can't link for some reason, but I posted earlier about my "duh" moment.)

5 pounds of chicken thighs and breasts cooked with a jar of brandied apples in syrup (homemade), a handful of red pepper flakes, a handful of dried minced onion, some salt, some cayenne, and a dash of red wine vinegar.

Sooooooo gooooooood. The chicken practically melts in your mouth, and it's neither intensely sweet or intensely spicy, just soooo flavourful and juicy. It's one of my best experiments in awhile!
