What to do with wine that tastes like pickles?
I made homemade wine, which is a thing I do with variable success. This recipe was from a winemaking forum and had good feedback! Cucumber, citrus, and ginger, sounds good because I had an overactive cucumber plant in my garden!!
This tastes like pickles. I hate pickles. To be fair, I’m not sure if its because it’s made of cucumbers... or because I made it in a former pickle jar. I had gotten the smell out of the jar and rinsed it with vinegar and everything.
So what do I do with a sweet pickle wine?! Any suggestions for something to mix it with to tone down the pickle flavors?
