I know there’s a lot of craziness going on in the world, but I wanted to do an AMA in case there were questions about my experience. Overall, it was pretty amazing, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Of course I’m disappointed in the way that I lost, but the buzzer and categories were not on my side. And I wasn’t going to get that final Jeopardy, anyway. Them’s the breaks! And now Weird Al and I have something in common! I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
I am going to go on a quick rant, though. It is AMAZING to me how many people (mostly men) who feel entitled to my time and company now. The amount of unsolicited messages, emails, and friend requests is baffling. Many of them have been congratulatory, and honestly I don’t mind those. I will also tell any woman who asks about my Orion dress where I got it (it’s Black Milk, but old, so they don’t have that pattern anymore). But the people demanding that I tell them about my research or Monday morning quarterback my playing are incredibly brazen. I also don’t really want to be friends with random people on Facebook, even if I only allow them access to things I publicly post (which is basically nothing). Also the bitch who messaged me to tell me I showed too much cleavage. She had her workplace listed as CHILDREN OF GOD (caps hers). I don’t think God wants you to message strangers and tell them they are slutty.
