I’m currently at a conference with a group of co-workers who primarily communicate over the phone/through email, but only see each other a few times a year. Despite this, we are a pretty close-knit group, and know each other fairly well. This has not stopped our group leader from insisting on “ice breakers” and team builders every damned day.

In the past day & a half, we’ve had to run a relay race, go around the room with our sun sign (Cancer) and then sit with our fellow sign mates, confess our celebrity crush (Elon Musk), and build a Lego car.

What are some of the best and worst ice breaker/team builders you’ve suffered through at work? When do we get to consider the ice good and broken?
