Welcome To The Bitchery

I'm going to Hong Kong!

And it’s the first time I’ll be traveling alone! Flights there were cheaper than to Europe! My hotel is so mini and affordable! I AM SO EXCITED AAAAARRRGH

EDIT: I am a pescetarian. I still intend to try at least one pork bun/dumpling, and have vegetarian restauratns on my list, but any help in how to navigate this would be appreciated. (There might be a bit of a don’t ask/don’t tell policy.)

Have you been? Do you have favorite things to do? I have a huge google doc of places I want to go and things I want to eat (look at my one big splurge meal at a place with michilen stars and an art gallery and a garden) but prioritizing is hard, and if there are any highlights or hidden gems or your favorite hole in the wall place, or a great walking tour, hit ya girl up!

I love art (so many art galleries - artsy’s list has been helpful) but there are so many! Which is amazing, but, only there for 8 nights and all that. I love gardens, temples, cool markets (so excited for cheap probably fake jade and cat souvenirs), bars where I can go alone, somewhere to go to a performance of any sort - I’m open!

Definitely gonna take a day trip to see the giant buddha and explore the old fishing village around it and get out of the city for a day.

Oh, and if it matters, I’ll be there in early September.
