I've been on birth control since I was 15 for my period cuz it was hella irregular and my cramps were so bad I couldn't walk. The first pill I hated, it was Loestrin. I was literally spotting perpetually for the 3 months I was on it. The second pill I was on I loved but they discontinued it for some reason (it was Lo Ovral).
So I switched to Ortho Tricyclen Lo, which I hated. It made me break out like crazy and it wasn't helping my cramps.
SO THEN I switched to Generess Fe, which I'm on now. Which I like! I don't break out, my moods are pretty stable, and my period is only 2 days long (well, 3 if you count the Sunday after) and it comes at the exact same time every month, on the dot. However, the first day is still HELL. Especially if I wear a tampon. Anyone else's cramps significantly worse if they wear a tampon? Is my cervix just yelling STOP TOUCHING ME?
Bleh. I don't want to switch pills again cuz it's a pain in the ass. I like being on the pill as opposed to anything else (I'm a rare unicorn and haven't missed a pill once in 6 years). The idea of an IUD really freaks me out because it's...inside me. And I'm weird. My skin is too sensitive to wear the patch. I hate shots so Depo is out. And the Nuva ring...well it's also inside me so nahhh. I'm good.
I don't know what the point of this post is. I don't want to switch pills or methods. I just want the gnomes in my uterus to stop digging with rusty spoons.
